LOCTITE® 089™ (Letter Grade AA™) is a specialized, single-component anaerobic threadlocking and sealing adhesive based on a historical 1950s formulation.
Exhibiting a very low viscosity with powerful capillary wicking action, it effortlessly penetrates tight metal-to-metal clearances. It is engineered to permanently lock fine-threaded fasteners against extreme vibration while simultaneously filling and sealing microscopic porosity in welds, castings, and powdered metal components to prevent fluid leaks.
